The story of Paulaner began nearly 400 years ago in a Munich monastery, where the monks of the Paulaner order used the highest quality ingredients to brew beer.

Paulaner Brewery still makes its beers using the highest quality ingredients, and in accordance with the Bavarian Beer Brewing Law of 1516, which allows for only four ingredients in brewing the prized local beer: hops, malt, water, and yeast. These ingredients are the secret to Paulaner’s rich taste.

Most beer lovers know Paulaner Brewery due to its most famous beer, Paulaner Wheat. This light wheat beer is unfiltered and contains 5.5% alcohol. It is refreshing with a bright fruity aroma and has a deep golden hue and a thick and firm foam head.

The Paulaner Brewery is a proud participant in the Munich Oktoberfest Festival. Paulaner brews its traditional Oktoberfest beer especially for the festival and for the many fans who wait all year to enjoy it. This is a light lager made from premium Bavarian barley, easy to drink with a 6% alcohol content. The beer is made in a very slow brewing process that lasts from March to August. This seasonal beer is available in Israel during Oktoberfest.
