Segal Unfiltered

The Segal Winery’s flagship wine and one of the most highly appreciated wines in Israel. This is the first wine in Israel, which went against all of the winemaking conventions in Israel in that period, and therefore it is named after the fact that it does not undergo a filtering process (most wines undergo a filtering process).

This wine is released every year in a limited edition, and its grapes, which grow in the Upper Galilee region (90% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Dishon Vineyard and 10% Merlot from the Dovev Vineyard), are aged for approximately 21 months in oak barrels. The wine develops sediments over time that only enrich the wine’s flavor. It is intense and at the same time subtle and elegant. The bottle is unique in its design and its label is recycled from strawberry trees near the vineyards. This is an award-winning wine and one of the most valued in Israel. The wine has the ability to age for many years in the bottle.
