In Polish, Wyborowa means ‘excellent.’ The Poles are known to be experts on vodka and have a reputation for taking great pride in their fine spirits. Wyborowa is one of the best sold Polish vodkas in the world.
Wyborowa was first produced in 1823 according to an ancient recipe from the 16th century. The official Wyborowa brand has been operating since 1927. Wyborowa began exporting its vodka in the 1960s, gradually becoming the world’s most successful Polish vodka brand. Since the fall of the Soviet Union, Wyborowa sales in Europe and North America have skyrocketed. Sales have been steadily rising ever since. Today it is the best selling Polish vodka brand outside of Poland.
Based on a 600-year-old recipe, Wyborowa is a 100% rye based spirit made with the purest water, pumped from the distillery’s own well before undergoing double osmosis. The high-quality rye gives Wyborowa its signature sweet, soft taste. The vodka is triple distilled to give it an unusually smooth, polished taste.
